Postnatal yoga is the ideal way to help your body recover from pregnancy and birth: helping your strengthen and tone your body and giving your mind the peace it needs to properly rest. This class primarily focuses on mum, but we incorporate gentle stretches and interaction with your baby as well, the perfect way to introduce yoga into your baby's life.
Classes will be held at APG.Studio Fitness and Yoga, in Shirley, Solihull. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Classes are suitable for ladies 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 12 weeks after a c-section. In all instances, confirmation that medical postnatal checks have been completed is required. All course are accredited by Fedant (The Federation of Antenatal Educators).

* Diastasis Recti occurs where the abdominal muscles have separated, which can become more common during pregnancy. Classes can include checking and guidance for self-checking of Diastasis Recti. Specific poses to strengthen and repair this area will be included throughout the course.
